New Laser, New Work!!

A new laser providing a working area of 9 metres long x 3 metres wide, working alongside an existing 8 metre plasma cutter and a high speed punch press which complements the BW steel pressing centre has attracted some very welcome work from very different areas of industry.

A new terminal at Dublin Airport currently been constructed has seen the main contractor solving a  particular problem by finding someone who could cut some 6 metre long x 20mm plate stringers in one piece by being introduced to BW and as a result we have also supplied all the ancilliary treads and landing plates.

Other work currently been processed include components up to 6.5 metres long cut and press formed for Crane Walkways, Crash Barriers, and Agriculture. 

Also been processed are some components for the Bakery Industry manufactured from special heat resistant steel.
