Roll forming of metal sections is an area in which BW Industries not only produce a range of standard Z Section, C Section and SFS profiles, but also manufacture bespoke cold rolled steel sections up to a massive 500mm deep and up to a gauge of 6mm.

Top hat sections, anti-vandal wall panels, beams and joists are just some of the roll-formed sections produced from our 114,000 square foot production facility in East Yorkshire.

If we are unable to roll-form the section you are looking for, or the quantities dictate that it is not viable, then we would look at press-forming as an alternative to rolling. Using this method we can form sections up to 9 metres long and and is complimented by our laser and fabrication departments.

We house some of the largest rolling mills in the UK, which have the capacity of producing Z Sections up to 400mm x 4.0mm and C Sections up to 500mm x 6.0mm and all points in between.

Alongside our Standard range of Purlins, Side Rails and Mezzanine Beams, BW’s 12 rollforming lines currently supply sections to a wide variety of industries including the construction and building industries, modular and portable accommodation, anti-vandal units manufacturers, steel shipping containers and silos, trailers, caravans and general engineering.
